The body of a half-naked woman was found in the vicinity of a car wash centre at Jalan Pondok Labu, Kulim near here today.
Kedah CID chief ACP Nashir Ya said Kulim police received information on the discovery at 12.15pm.
"The body was found half-naked (wearing only a bra) and has facial injuries," he said in a statement here today.
He said the cause of death was still uncertain.
