Xi Jinping presents a special gift for Najib's daughter

China’s President Xi Jinping presented a special gift for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s

daughter, Nooryana Najwa, who got married recently.

“He did something unexpected by presenting a special gift for my daughter,” he said after holding a bilateral meeting with Xi, here on Friday.

The gift was a double side embroidery of a full moon and flower blossom as well as a Chinese porcelain tea set.

“I was told that the embroidery signifies eternal happiness,” said Najib, who is here for a two-day working visit.

President Xi also congratulated Najib twice for his daugther’s marriage, he added.
