Young man killed on his way to brother's wedding

A young man who was on his way to his brother's wedding was killed, after the car he was travelling in collided with another vehicle in an incident at KM126.6 of the Kuala Terengganu-Kuantan route near Kampung Kemasik here, Friday afternoon.
Che Wan Fadhul Wafi Che Wan Razali, 20, died at the scene, after the Proton Satria car which was being driven by his eldest brother Che Wan Mohd Farhan, 30, went out of control and hit a Proton Saga coming from the opposite direction.
Che Wan Mohd Farhan broke his left thigh and left ribs, while a married couple aged 30 and 31 in the Proton Saga, were slightly injured.
Another one of the victim's brothers, Che Wan Zulfahmi, 26, said he was shocked when he saw his brother's car involved in an accident while he was also on his way to the wedding ceremony held in Kampung Kemasik.
"I called my other family members to inform them of the tragic incident which had befallen us on this auspicious day," he told Bernama here, adding that the ceremony was cancelled following the sad news.
Meanwhile, Kemaman OCPD Supt Mohd Said Ibrahim, when contacted, confirmed the incident, and said the victim's body was sent to the Forensics Unit at the Kemaman Hospital.
