Youth dies following attack by group

A youth succumbed to head and body injuries, following an attack by a group of men over a damaged motorcycle in Kampung Pasir Putih, Pasir Gudang last night.

The incident occurred at 7.15pm.

Seri Alam police chief Supt Abdul Samad Salleh said the unemployed victim died on the way to a nearby clinic.

He said the youth was believed to have been assaulted after a motorcycle belonging to one of the village residents was found damaged.

"We have detained two men to facilitate investigations into the murder, and are looking for four others to shed light on the case," he said when contacted this evening.
