Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi today visited the family of former Hulu Terengganu UMNO Youth chief Zakari Ali in Kampung Gaung,
Zakari, 63, died due to infection at Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ).
Zahid, who is on a working visit to Terengganu, arrived at Zakari''s home at 12.10pm and immediately joined a ''tahlil'' session. He spent about half an hour.
Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman and Deputy Minister of Communications and Multimedia Datuk Jailani Johari were among those present.
Zahid then went to Marang for a meet-the people programme in Kampung Gelugor.
