Zakir Naik a hit among 40,000 East Coast audience

Nearly 40,000 people attended Dr Zakir Naik's final lecture in Terengganu which was held at Padang Astaka here last night.
It was the fourth lecture by the Islamic preacher in Terengganu since arriving in the country on April 9.
Despite the drizzle, people began arriving as early as 7.30pm to hear Dr Zakir's lecture on 'Muslim's Choice, Da'wah or Destruction'.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman was also among the crowd, consisting of people from various races and religions.
Bernama learnt that the audience hailed from Pahang and Kelantan, some of whom admitted not being fluent in English, but came all the way just to find out and witness the greatness of Dr Zakir.
Meanwhile, Dr Zakir, in his lecture, reminded Muslims to practice the way of life as taught in the Quran.
