MH17: Tambi to be buried with wife and son

MH17 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was shot down on July 17, killing 298 people on board.
The remains of Malaysia Airlines (MAS) MH17 victim, Tambi Jiee arrived at the Royal Malaysian Air Force Base in Kuching at 11.40am today.
Members from the Fourth Regiment of the Royal Armoured Corps carried the casket of Tambi’s remains before it was taken to the Jamek Mosque for prayers. His remains were later taken to Semariang for burial.
He will be buried with his wife Ariza Ghazalee and son Muhammad Afif who were also in the same flight. His wife and son were repatriated from the Netherlands on Aug 22.
The remains of his three other children have yet to be found.
Present to receive the remains were Sarawak Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud and wife, Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rohani Karim and Sarawak Second Resource Management and Environment Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan.
