Hello everyone.  My name is Suhaimi and I am a lens-a-holic.  I need help.

I have been buying a lot of camera lenses over the past 2 years. The problem is I never get to use all of them. 
I can’t travel on the plane with all of them as they won’t fit in my bag. I can’t carry all of them during my photo outings as my camera bag is not large.

Here are just some of what I have right now…
I have more, all stacked up against the wall, right next to the kitchen.  Yes, I have a problem.

And I just bought another one a few hours ago, a Nikkor 70-200mm. I can’t help it.

I just love taking pictures. I must set aside at least 3 to 6 hours on the weekend to take pictures of nature, birds and mammals.

Looking at nature through the camera lens takes the stress off me.


And now I have another, related problem.

I have been getting requests from friends to take their wedding pictures and will pay me for doing that.  And they want to pay me a lot!!!    My friends want me to turn my love for photography into a ‘career’ – make money out of it, lots of it.

What?  I don’t do this for money.  I do this because I just love looking at things through the camera lens.
I feel empowered and I feel creative.  Yes, I need help.


And recently I was asked by a friend if I could produce a portfolio for a young skater, semi-nude, as he wants to be an international model!! 

What?
I have enough problems as at now.  I just need to stop reading the lens catalogue.

Is there a shrink out there? I just need someone to tell me, hey Suhaimi, you have enough already.
