Today, since I am in Singapore, I went to visit the world famous Singapore Zoo.
The people at the Singapore Zoo are simply a creative bunch. They took the business of running a zoo to a whole new level. You could feel the energy and the enthusiasm of the staff at the zoo. From the exhibits to the shows, a lot of planning and training went into them.
The zoo also provided very courteous team members to help visitors get taxis after they finished visiting the zoo.
It is more than passion. It is also about always wanting to be the best in their “business”. That is what others can learn from the Singapore Zoo.
While other zoos have animals for people to see, the Singapore Zoo provided a total ecological adventure with over 2,800 animals and over 40 animal feeding sessions, photo opportunities and lots of fun for people of all ages.
The key learning here is — whatever we do, we must always strive to be the best and always put ourselves in the customers’ shoes and only by doing that we will be able to provide the total product/service/customer experience. That was very evident at the Singapore zoo.
You just have to come here and experience it yourself — then, you can agree with me.
I leave you with some of the photos that I took before it rained. Ahaa… maybe next, the Singapore Zoo can think of a way to make sure that visitors can continue their adventure even if it rains…
