Why are politicians always angry, uncle?

I was asked that question recently by a group of young university students.

I asked them back. Why do you think so?

The students said, they like browsing and reading political blogs and following politicians on twitter and Instagram. According to them, more often than not, Politican A will say Politican B is bad and Politician B will say Politician A is not smart.

I never really looked at it that way.

Then I started looking and comparing the twitter messages, blogs and of course the press releases and statements that I receive daily from politicians from both sides.

The students have a valid point.

Now, on a daily basis I can’t help but to jot down how many “angry’ press releases and how many “great ideas” coming from politician.

So far the angry ones are more. When I met with the students, they actually said they don’t like the “fight” and they want ideas on how to stretch the Ringgit and improvement in the general quality of life.

Now… everyday, I will have a tally – after reading the press releases from politicians I will put them in the following categories

1. Angry press releases. 2. Good solutions to improve the quality of life. 3. Bad ideas. 4. Bad statements.

We are being judged everyday…
