2021 Budget: Representatives of PH leaders meet Finance Minister

PUTRAJAYA: Representatives of Pakatan Harapan (PH) leaders arrived at the Finance Ministry building at 2.30 pm to hold discussions with the Minister of Finance, Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Aziz on the 2021 Budget which will be tabled on November 6.
It is understood that the meeting involving PKR, DAP and Amanah representatives took place from 3 to 5 pm today.
PKR is represented by four leaders, namely its secretary general, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail; PKR organizing chief secretary, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad; Youth chief, Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir and Subang Member of Parliament, Wong Chen.
Chen, when asked by the media said, six main proposals will be submitted by PKR to the government to be considered in the 2021 Budget.
Meanwhile, the Amanah party was represented by its president, Mohamad Sabu and its strategic director, Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad.
Meanwhile, DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng was seen arriving at 2.59 pm.
Apart from Guan Eng, also present to represent the party were publicity secretary Tony Pua; assistant director of political educators, Dr Ong Kian Ming and strategic director, Liew Chin Tong.
Sebelum itu, Tengku Zafrul turut mengadakan perbincangan dengan beberapa wakil pemimpin termasuk daripada UMNO, Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS), Pas serta Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS).
Prior to that, Tengku Zafrul also held discussions with several representatives of leaders including from UMNO, Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS), PAS and Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS).
On October 28, the Yand di-Pertuan Agong called on all members of parliament to give their full support to the 2021 Budget which will be tabled in the Dewan Rakyat.
