Berkhidmat' (United. Loyal. Submissive) to ensure the party's survival, said Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor.

Tabling the Secretary-General's Report at the 2014 Umno General Assembly at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) today, he said the solidarity, if translated, will become the pillar of strength for Umno to win more seats in the coming 14th general election.

"It is not only at this assembly that we discuss the party's direction but also on other days so that the continuity of our struggles will be maintained and passed down to the subsequent generations.

"Let us be united, loyal and serve with determination to win the PRU14 (14th general election)," he said before 2,752 delegates from throughout the country.

The annual assembly of the the party that is the pillar of the Barisan Nasional (BN) is also attended by the leaders of the component parties and 117 delegates from foreign political parties.

Tengku Adnan, who is also the Federal Territories Minister, said that up to Nov 26, Umno had a total of 3,477,365 members with 21,332 branches throughout the country.

The Silam Umno division in Sabah has the largest number of members totalling 50,094 while Kampung Tinusa in Libaran, also in Sabah, is the branch with the most number of members at 1,795.
