Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the government's effectiveness in addressing current issues has left the UMNO divisional delegates meetings with no hot issue to discuss.
"The issues raised are close to the hearts of the people and they have been handled well by the leadership at federal and state level.
"This is due to the close cooperation with the secretary-general of ministries and the heads of departments and agencies," he told a press conference after witnessing the signing of a concession agreement between Prestariang Bhd and the Home Ministry, here on Tuesday.
Zahid is also the Home Minister and the UMNO vice-president, has been tasked with carrying out the duties of the UMNO deputy president.
