Adenan meets Taib, scheduled to hold press conference this afternoon

Adenan who spent 1 hour and 15 minutes with Abdul Taib, left his residence at about 11am.
Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem had an audience with Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud at Jalan Demak, this morning.
Adenan arrived at about 9.45am.
This is routine meet for the state CM before chairing the state Cabinet meeting later today.
Adenan who spent 1 hour and 15 minutes with Abdul Taib, left his residence at about 11am.
Adenan who spent a few minutes with the media waiting outside said he will be holding a press conference at Wisma Bapa Malaysia building at 2pm later today.
There are speculations that the meeting today between the two men and the press conference later are related to the Sarawak state elections, scheduled to be held soon.
The 11th state election is expected to be called any time now because the term of the current state legislative assembly ends in June.
The government has allocated RM135.6 million for the Election Commission to conduct the 11th Sarawak election.

The allocation given to the EC for the 10th state election, held in 2011, was RM79 million.
