Adenan's initiatives eliminated negative perception of some Sarawakians toward BN - Ahmad Zahid

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the 53 initiatives and transformation brought about by Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem had eliminated whatever negative perception, hatred sowed by the opposition against Barisan Nasional.

Ahmad Zahid said in the 2011 state election, the opposition had managed to sow seeds of hatred towards BN, especially among the urban voters.

"The situation has changed since Tan Sri Adenan took over the leadership. His good work, leadership qualities and positive policies has changed the perception of the people, not only in the rural areas but urban areas as well.

"The Wow factor that Adenan had instilled among the voters through his 53 transformation initiatives has changed the mindset and perception of the people toward BN," he told reporters when asked to comment about the progress of BN's campaign for the state election.

Ahmad Zahid earlier met about 800 officers and personnel from the General Operations Force at Batu Kawa, here today.
