Dewan Rakyat Deputy Speaker Datuk Ismail Said today hauled up Ampang Member of Parliament Zuraida Kamaruddin for wearing a black vest with the party logo during parliamentary session.
"According to Clause 41(F) of the meeting rules, a member of parliament cannot wear clothes that have a party logo or emblem," he said, urging Zuraida to remove the vest.
Ismail said this during winding-up of the Supply Bill 2015 by Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Douglas Uggah Embas tonight.
Earlier, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim stood and urged the Deputy Speaker to haul up Zuraida.
The Wanita PKR chief, who was caught blushing, said she realised the mistake and will read and understand the meeting rules.
