Avoid disunity, Wanita UMNO urged to stand by Najib

Members and leaders of Wanita UMNO's political wing are urged to show their unwavering support to party President Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in the face of adversities faced by the top leadership.

Its chief, Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil said it is the duties of all members said the wing’s support for Najib remained strong and stressed that Wanita UMNO would remain loyal.

"I urge all members to continue to support Datuk Seri Najib's leadership to ensure our strength," said Shahrizat in her keynote address titled, 'Wanita Tunggak Penyatu UMNO' during the opening of Wanita UMNO's wing assembly at the Putra World Trade Centre, here today.

"Nothing in this world lasts. The world is constantly changing, especially in politics. Changes can come in various forms. Sometimes we bring the changes, and at times we are forced to accept the change," she said.

The changes, however must be done in accordance of religion, race and nation, she concluded.
