The reluctance of Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali to sack three Pas State Executive Council (Exco) members shows that he is playing theatrics in running the state government.
Selangor UMNO liaison committee chairman Tan Sri Noh Omar said Mohamed Azmin and the Pas Exco members were actually protecting their personal interest.
"As the Selangor Menteri Besar, Azmin has the right to change the Exco line-up. However, until now he has not done so.
"Azmin''s directive that the three Pas exco members resigned is only a farce," he told reporters after closing the Muar Carnival at Dataran Tanjung Emas, here today.
On May 11, the Pas Shura Council unanimously decided to sever political cooperation with PKR for alleged breach of the terms of their agreement on political cooperation (tahaluf siyasi). - BERNAMA
