Be wary of parties involved in 'Mahathir Declaration' - Wee

People should be wary of the agenda of parties involved in the 'Mahathir Declaration', especially former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad himself and DAP veteran leader Lim Kit Siang, said Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Wee Ka Siong.
The MCA deputy president said at one point, the two leaders could not see eye to eye, but now it all seems to have been cast aside, causing people to wonder what kind of political game the two men are playing.
"What they have expressed, (before) it is something which will always be in our memories, and I think they have only one goal, and that is to overthrow the government.
"We should actually concentrate on how we can increase income of the people (which) is more important than politicking like them because (it) will not lead us anywhere," he told reporters after opening the 'Melaka Machap Baru Food and Cultural Night' at Machap Walk, Machap Baru here, Wednesday night.
He was commenting on the actions of Lim and DAP in cooperating with Dr Mahathir to oust Datuk Seri Najib Razak as the prime minister.
