According to Muhyiddin, he is optimistic that PN will be accepted by the people following the coalition's recent victory in the Sabah State Election.
"Many are sceptical of this decision. It is understandable since PN is a new party. PN's emblem is unknown compared to other older parties. But I will take the risk.
"I trust in Allah. If PN can be accepted in Sabah, I am confident PN can be accepted by the people throughout the country.
"I believe that in the next general election, Perikatan will be well received by Malaysians. Studies conducted show that Malaysians' acceptance of PN is high.
"Therefore, Bersatu has decided to use the Perikatan Nasional logo in the 15th General Election," he said.
Muhyiddin said in his policy speech at the 3rd Bersatu annual general assembly held virtually today.
He emphasised that PN is accepted by the people because of the government's leadership that cares and prioritises the welfare of the people.
As a result, he said, Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) secured 38 seats in the Sabah polls to form a new state government.
