That awkward moment when Gerakan Harapan Baru (GHB) chairman Mohamad Sabu 'forgot' that he no longer represented PAS.
While addressing the crowd at the Bersih 4 rally today, the former PAS deputy president suffered a slip of the tongue.
"On behalf of my friends in PAS, eh pardon me.. my friends in Harapan Baru, I call for all of you to instill hope to transform Malaysia," said the man who is popularly known as Mat Sabu.
Bersih 4 is the first Bersih rally organised without the presence of PAS and its security wing known as Unit Amal.
However, PAS yesterday stated their support for Bersih 4, despite the rally being declared illegal by authorities.
Before this, Bersih 4 organisers had stated that the rally was not political in nature but several politicians had addressed the crowd at the rally today, including Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, GHB member Dr Mohd Hatta Ramli, and PKR secretary-general Rafizi Ramli.
