Cash reward for new members: It's not true, says Dr Wan Azizah

Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail today denied allegations that the party will pay RM100 for every joining new member.

Commenting on a photo of a banner that has been going viral on social media that claims that when a new member registers with the party, they will be rewarded with RM100 cash.

"Itu adalah palsu. We don't refer to our members as anggota," she said when delivering her keynote address at the party 's 11th National Congress here, today .

The banners spotted in Gombak and Ampang, claim that the cash claim could be made at the party’s headquarters in Petaling Jaya.

Photos of the banners have been circulating in Facebook and Twitter since yesterday.
