DAP is too small for Kit Siang to be Prime Minister - Dr Mahathir

DAP is too small and its adviser, Lim Kit Siang is an unsuitable candidate to become the Prime Minister, said Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

The former Prime Minister said tKit Siang’s intention is attainable, only if the DAP veteran can clinch the support from the Malays.

He said, the rakyat should not worry as DAP on its own cannot be a premiere.

“If UMNO fails, Kit Siang will be Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s successor. How can Kit Siang become the PM, his party is too small, DAP is also small, he cannot be the PM unless the Malays want him,” said Dr Mahathir at Bicara Perdana Bersama Tun Mahathir here today.

The programme was attended by Dr Mahathir’s wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali, Pulau Pinang PPBM coordinating membership chairman, Marzuki Yahya, Pulau Pinang PKR chairman, Datuk Mansor Othman and Pulau Pinang DAP chairman, Chow Kon Yeow.
