DAP will make use of anyone for political survival - Annuar

The DAP will continue to rule and make use of anyone, including former UMNO leaders as well as friends in the opposition camp for its political survival, says UMNO Information chief Tan Sri Annuar Musa.

He said Lim Kit Siang's ability to tackle political figures such as former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad who was seen thus far, as untouchable and hard to defeat in the political arena, had proven that the DAP stalwart was a political dictator.

"There are several outstanding people in Malaysian politics but not many can win over or lure Tun Dr Mahathir, including Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah and (Datuk Seri) Anwar Ibrahim.

"Kit Siang had never been to the UMNO office when Tun (Dr) Mahathir was in UMNO. But finally, Tun (Dr) Mahathir visited the DAP office. Now, Kit Siang is able to lure and tame Tun (Dr) Mahathir, " he said in 'Bicara Minda Dialogue Session: Perjuangan For All' at the Putra World Trade Centre here last night.

The programme organised by Puteri UMNO was also attended by UMNO Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said and Puteri UMNO chief Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin.
