After the latest “stance” of UMNO and its two friends — MIC and MCA that currently have 42 seats in the House of Representatives announced this evening, I was curious on whether the proposed “dissolution of parliament” is a good democratic intention or otherwise.
Personally, even before the press statement was made, I disagreed with the idea of unethically forming a government that’s not electorally consented by the rakyat.
It’s true that the people must be given rights to choose on the ballot, but will the idea of dissolving parliament be satisfactorily liked by them?
As it was reported, Pakatan Harapan’s top leaders had a special meeting, and of course, they would surely have achieved a certain corroboration that could politically bolster the three-party coalition that was just left by its ex 26-MP ally, Bersatu.
As boisterously noised on Twitter, it seems that the so-called “backdoor government”, which has been gossiped to be featured by a previous ruling coalition, is madly and clearly detested by the people.
Despite ejecting “corrective says” from the mouths of any untrustworthy politician, everyone of us is patiently waiting for our beloved His Majesty to decide on what will be the best for the nation’s future and its people’s sustainable prosperity after every 211 MP has an audience with His Majesty at the Palace.
If we felt that the historical night of the 14th general election result was suspenseful, this unprecedented political drama is much more suspenseful that its plots have been unexpected and mysterious.
As a Malaysian who patriotically loves this nation, I wishfully hope that this stressful political turmoil could be instantly and democratically solved with us fully respecting His Majesty’s decision that would be verbalised before this Friday.
I highly believe that His Majesty has been brilliantly assessing every possible constitutional approach in steadily fixing the crisis with every voice of the elected MPs heard and gauged.
Trust me, our beloved King, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, will be surely making an applausive final say for the sake of inspiring this multiracial land’s stability socially and economically.
