Don't be confused, just vote for Amanah, says Dr Wan Azizah

Voters, be it in Sungai Besar or Kuala Kangsar, should not feel confused whether to vote for PAS or Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) in the coming by-elections, said Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail today.
"There is no need to be confused. If you want to use this by-election as a referendum against Barisan Nasional (BN), vote for Amanah," said the Opposition Leader.
She said this when responding to a question regarding the confusion faced by voters since both PAS and Amanah have been using the same approach to reach out to voters.
Dr Wan Azizah who is also PKR President was met by reporters when accompanying Amanah candidate, Azhar Abdul Shukur, who was on his campaign rounds at the Ramadan Bazar in Pekan Sungai Besar today.
Also present was her daughter Nurul Izzah Anwar, who is also PKR Vice-President.
When asked about PAS' statement that people should vote for its candidate based on the party's performance before, Nurul Izzah said, Amanah has a pretty good reputation to make Azhar qualify for a Parliament seat.
"If based on track, Amanah together with PKR and DAP have jointly opposed the National Security Council Bill in Parliament, as well as the implementation of GST.
"I believe this is enough evidence to send Azhar to Parliament," said Nurul Izzah.
PAS Vice-President Datuk Iskandar Abdul Samad had reportedly said, the PAS candidate should be chosen by voters to serve as a referendum to BN.
He said, this rationale is based on the party's past performance which is much longer than Amanah.
