"Fate brought me back to politics" - Nik Abduh
Nik Abduh admitted that although he had not been blessed with the eloquence to speak like other politicians but he had been endowed with good writing skills.
PAS youth chief Nik Mohamad Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz – who was absent from the wing over the past two years – admitted that fate brought him back to politics.
Nik Abduh – in his first speech as the party’s youth chief – said the period was used to take care of his ailing father former PAS spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat.
He also did not expect to to be nominated and elected to lead the youth's wing despite his shy nature.
During his speech, he also warned all parties not to underestimate his capabilities.
He said, although he is quiet, shy and gentle, but he has claws too.
"I'm not shy, shy cat but shy, shy tiger. My scratch can be bloody,” he said during his closing speech at PAS’ 61st annual Muktamar today.
He admitted that although he had not been blessed with the eloquence to speak like other politicians but he had been endowed with good writing skills.
He said his late father - despite being a person who seldom give praises - had praised his writing.
"It’s hard for me to speak in front of people. Even if God did not give me speaking skills, my late father praised my writing,” he said.
“
I'm not shy, shy cat but shy, shy tiger. My scratch can be bloody.

Nik Abduh defeated his challenger UMNO Youth Chief incumbent Suhaizan Kaiat with 429 votes as compared to Suhaizan’s 262 votes.
He was representing a group of scholars and was voted by the PAS youth wing on June 3.
