Expelled UMNO deputy president Tan Sri Muhyididn Yassin today said he has never left UMNO’s struggles or betrayed the party which he had been a member for 40 years.
Muhyididn who was expelled from the party yesterday said he is disappointed that UMNO today is no longer the party that it used to be.
The former Deputy Prime Minister stressed that his fight against corruption is far from over.
“But, if they think that my fight and struggles will end here, then they are mistaken. I will continue to fight for as long as I am alive,” he wrote on his Facebook today.
Here is his full statement:
UMNO Supreme Council yesterday sacked Muhyiddin and former Kedah menteri besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir.
UMNO president Datuk Seri Najib Razak said the decision was made because the two leaders had shared the same stage with the Opposition and attacked the party's leadership.
