'I don't care if I'm replaced' - Shahidan

ARAU: "I don't care if I'm replaced."

So said the chairman of the Perlis UMNO Liaison Body, Datuk Seri Shahidan Kasim, about the rumours that he will be replaced by Datuk Seri Azlan Man as the chairman of Perlis UMNO.

However, Shahidan explained, there were no rumours that he would be dropped as Perlis UMNO chairman.

"There are no rumours ... what did I do wrong? If I commit a serious offence and so on, then that’s okay.

"What offence did I commit? I'm only giving additional views," said the Arau Member of Parliament when met after meeting with the UMNO Wanita movement at the Kubang Gajah Service Centre near Arau, on Saturday.

Recently, Azlan informed that he himself was not aware of rumours that he would be appointed to replace Shahidan as Perlis UMNO chairman.

Azlan said if that happened, it is not his decision and that it is the consideration of the top leadership in the party.
