The condition of Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah, who was rushed to the Kedah Medical Centre (KMC) this evening after feeling dizzy, was stable although slightly weak, according to his political secretary Datuk Shaiful Hazizy Zainal Abidin.
He said the Menteri Besar was only suffering from a slight tiredness and dizziness before blacking out and was rushed to the medical centre.
"He did not faint and fall, just a slight dizziness. His condition is now stable and is still under observation by the hospital," he said when met by reporters at the KMC grounds.
Ahmad Bashah had earlier attended a meeting with State Assemblymen from the Barisan Nasional at the Hotel Grand Alora at 7pm, and was rushed to hospital at about 7.15pm.
Meanwhile, Shaiful said an official statement would be issued by the State Secretary, Datuk Bakar Din, tomorrow.
