Kelantan PAS Youth today called on the party's elected representatives who are linked to the setting up of Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) which is now in the process for registration, to state their stand.
Its chief, Ahmad Fadhli Shaari said their stand should be explained so that voters could make their own evaluation, particularly in the next general election.
"We also want Tumpat member of Parliament, Datuk Kamaruddin Jaffar to state his stand, whether he still wants to be with PAS or to join Parti Amanah Negara," he told reporters when met after the flagging-off of the 'ASEAN Rides Festival 2015, East Zone" from the grounds of Kota Darul Naim, here, today.
About 150 superbikes are taking part in the expedition that was flagged off by Kelantan Menteri Besar, Datuk Ahmad Yakob.
Ahmad Fadhli was responding to claims that 10 PAS elected representatives would be joining Amanah soon.
On claims that Kelantan Amanah would not be fielding its candidates in the state in the next general election, he said Kelantan PAS would always be wary about this.
"The way they are going about; going down to the villages and giving explanations, appears like they will be contesting. So, we should be careful in facing any eventuality if they (Amanah) decide to contest in Kelantan," he said.
On cooperation between PAS and Amanah in future, Ahmad Fadhli said this might not be possible as their policies were different.
"How to make friends with PAS as they are a splinter group from the party? It's like they are stating they disagree with PAS' policies," he said.
