Kelantan UMNO should not relax in bid to wrest back state - Annuar

Kelantan UMNO should not be too relaxed although there are parties imagining Barisan Nasional (BN) has a good chance in returning to govern the state in the 14th General Eelection (GE14).

UMNO Information Chief, Tan Sri Annuar Musa said the state UMNO ought to make thorough preparations for the general election.

"We should not envision too early to rule Kelantan because not all things that seem simple are easily achieved, Instead, we have to focus on serving the people of the state," he told reporters here today.

Annuar, who is also Ketereh MP, said the important thing was to improve performance in delivering service to the people to enable them to give a mandate to BN to take over the administration of the state from PAS.

"I think if we continue to carry out the good work and demonstrate high integrity and continue steadfastly with what we are doing for the people, they will give us the confidence to rule," he added. - BERNAMA
