Kota Tinggi PAS nominates Husam Musa for president's post
Kota Tinggi PAS said the decision to nominate Husam (pic) was made at its annual general meeting on Saturday.
Kota Tinggi PAS on Saturday nominated party vice-president, Datuk Paduka Husam Musa for the president's post in the party elections in June.
In a statement, Kota Tinggi PAS said the decision was made at its annual general meeting today.
The meeting was officially opened by PAS Central Working Committee member, Mohamed Hanipa Maidin at the Kota Tinggi PAS headquarters in Taman Hijrah, Kota Tinggi.
"The 28th Kota Tinggi annual meeting unanimously decided to nominate members to the PAS Central Working Committee for the 2015-2017 term and nominated Datuk Paduka Husam Musa as PAS president," the statement said.
The statement was sent to reporters by Johor PAS information chief Onn Jaafar through WhatsApp Saturday night.
The election for the PAS Central Working Committee is held every two years and the next election will be at its general assembly in Kuala Selangor on June 1.
