Mastura can campaign using alternative methods - Chief Mufti of Federal Territories

Federal Territory Chief Mufti Datuk Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri said he is of the opinion that Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for the Kuala Kangsar parliamentary by-election Datin Mastura Mohd Yazid, who is in 'iddah' (mourning), can use alternative means to campaign.
Zulkifli said information technology could be used currently to deliver her aspirations, thoughts and to campaign.
"Also representatives and staff can take over the tasks of a woman in mourning, which has to be respected," he said in a statement on the Federal Territory Mufti's Office official website.
