MCA will investigate the complaints against its member, Datuk Kian Sit Har, who allegedly participated in the
illegal #KitaLawan gathering last Saturday, and will take disciplinary action against her if she was found to have violated the party constitution.

President Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the party had so far received verbal complaints against the Melaka MCA Wanita adviser and action would only be taken against her once the written complaint was filed.

He said this to reporters after attending the presentation of Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TARUC) Education Foundation Donors and Long Service Award Ceremony here on Thursday.

Liow was commenting on the Kian's activity after she was photographed with PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli at the gathering last Saturday.

Prior to this, Kian, 77, was also reported to have participated in several illegal rallies organised by the opposition, including Bersih 3.0 and the Anti-Lynas Campaign in 2012.

However, Kian defended herself by saying that she attended those events in her personal capacity as a caring member of the society.
