The Bandar state seat here will again be contested by MCA in the next general election (GE14), said Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman.
Ahmad Razif, who is also state UMNO chief, said he had notified MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai as such, adding that it would only be contested by other Barisan Nasional parties if MCA declined it.
He was speaking to reporters after attending a Chinese New Year function here on Wednesday.
In the last general election, MCA's Datuk Toh Chin Yaw lost the seat to the opposition, Azan Ismail from PKR. - Bernama
