A total of 1,300 PKR members of the Api-Api branch were alleged to have left the party and joined Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS).
The mass exit from the party was led by PKR Api-Api Branch Vice Chairman, Roman Lo.
In a media statement today, he claimed that they acted in this way after losing faith in the leadership of Sabah PKR Chairman, Datuk Christina Liew.
Roman then joined PCS and submitted his membership form to the party's Deputy President, Datuk Seri Wilfred Bumburing in a closed ceremony in Kota Kinabalu, today.
Roman claimed that about 1,300 PKR branch members recruited by his party previously had also left the party and joined the PCS.
"I believe with the leadership of Datuk Seri Anifah Aman as PCS President, Datuk Wilfred Bumburing (Deputy) and Datuk Pang Yuk Ming (Vice President), we can resolve the political crisis for Sabah to move forward for the better, to the highest level.
"I will use my past experience to the full benefit of PCS," he said.
