More than 50 percent of the distribution of seats involving component parties in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) to face the 15th General Election (GE15) has been completed.
PAS President, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang said the distribution of seats was done in stages and some states have started the process.
The Marang Member of Parliament said, however, candidates and constituencies have yet to be identified.
"We can't fix the date yet. We set it step by step. I think it's 50 per cent, more than 50 per cent.
"Candidates have not been identified yet, the same with the constituencies. We want to make sure to win as many seats," he told the media here on Friday.
Asked about the logo that will be used later, Abdul Hadi explained his party is giving attention to the distribution of seats first before moving on to the logo that will be used later.
He said, the matter will also be seen through the agreement of the Muafakat Nasional and the Perikatan Nasional.
So far, he added, no discussion has been held regarding the use of the logo as the GE has not been set yet.
Earlier, UMNO Youth suggested that the Barisan Nasional (BN) logo be used as the official symbol during the next general election.
Its head, Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki said the proposal was also extended to the party that is not officially a component of BN, namely Pas and the Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu).
