Muhyiddin agreed in principle over Act 355 - Tuan Ibrahim

Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin already agreed in principle to the proposed amendments of the Syariah Court (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965 or Act 355, according to PAS deputy president Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.

"He (Muhyiddin) has already agreed in principle to it during our meeting with him.

"It is clear that Act 355 is only about strengthening the Syariah Court," said Tuan Ibrahim.

Asked about the negotiation process between PPBM and PAS, Tuan Ibrahim said there is no particular time frame set for the process.

"It is the same in terms of seat negotiations. We will not be divulging everything to the public," he said after attending the Dinner and Political Dialogue with PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang at Dewan Seri Iskandar in Setiawangsa on Saturday night.
