Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir denied talks that he will be sacked from his MB post.
Such talks are being widely circulated on WhatsApp messages, lately.
Mukhriz said he did not receive any notice from the party’s top leadership on the matter.
“I have seen so many things sent out on WhatsApp but I cannot respond because no statement from the leadership,” he said reporters.
On the video clip of Bukit Lada state assemblyman Datuk Ahmad Lebai Sudin calling for him to resign as the Kedah MB, Mukhriz said only the people can judge a leader’s performance, not a particular individual.
“I think I don’t have to comment on this because my performance and other colleagues in the state government can be judged by the people,” he said.
In the video clip, Ahmad had alleged that Mukhriz did not bring any changes and development in the three years he became MB.
