The People’s Progressive Party (MyPPP) is confident the party will be given a 'proper' seat to contest during the next general election.

Its president, Tan Sri M. Kayveas said: "I know we (PPP) will be given a proper seat this time around.

"As usual, seats are always an issue when it comes to general election," he said when responding to a question over the fielding of candidates during the annual MyPPP Family Day held at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa here Sunday.

On a separate matter, Kayveas critisised a statement by DAP's Jelutong MP Jeff Ooi on the late PAS Spritual Leader Datuk Dr Haron Din on Twitter Friday, saying it showed such leaders should not be in a position to lead.

The annual MyPPP Family Day was organised by the party's women’s movement and attended by some 100 families comprising mostly PPP members and their families. - BERNAMA
