The supreme council meeting of the People's Progressive Party (myPPP) on Sunday will focus on consensus to oppose the Mahathir declaration.
Its president Tan Sri M. Kayveas said the meeting would be making a stand against former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad for having joined opposition party leaders to come up with a declaration to oust Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

Kayveas described the declaration as outrageous, especially when it involved a former government leader who collaborated with the opposition leaders to topple the elected prime minister.
"MyPPP does not accept this...the declaration does not bring any benefit to the country," he said after handing over food hampers to 100 blind individuals at the Malaysian Association for the Blind Complex here Saturday.
Commenting on the termination of Dr Mahathir's appointment as the adviser of Petronas, Kayveas said the latter should resign voluntarily since he no longer supported the government.
