Najib 'advises' Palanivel to comply with RoS orders - Source

Datuk Seri Najib Razak had 'advised' MIC president Datuk Seri G. Palanivel to comply with the Registrar of Societies (RoS) orders for re-election of its 2013 party polls, a source told Astro AWANI on Tuesday.
The party leader who is also a central working committee (CWC) member said the meeting between the leaders held on Tuesday morning discussed the current crisis in MIC.
"Najib told Palanivel to comply with theRoS orders. That much I can confirm," said the source.
The MIC leader also dismissedtalks that Palanivel who is also the Natural Resources and Environment Minister, will once again head the re-election process, together with his appointed CWC members.
"No, I don't think so. He is the reason for the whole mess," the leader said.
TheRoS in a letter dated June 23 agreed for a re-election to be conducted by the interim 2009-2013 CWC.
The party has time until October to hold its re-elections.
