Najib opens UMNO General Assembly 2015

Prime Minister and UMNO President Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today opened the party’s General Assembly 2015, which was marked with a parade and flag-raising ceremony.
He arrived at the event at 8.45am.
Najib also delivered his speech at the Merdeka Hall, in Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), in front of 2,762 delegates.
Among those who witnessed his speech was the party’s deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
A total of 5,738 delegates comprising 2,762 delegates for the UMNO General Assembly as well as 993 Wanita delegates, Youth (992) and Puteri (991) attended the assembly.
The assembly will run until Saturday.
