UMNO vice- president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal hoped the newly elected MIC leadership could strengthen the party further.
UMNO vice- president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal hoped the newly elected MIC leadership could strengthen the party further.
He said the new party leadership should find measures to further boost the party with efforts to assist the people.
"I congratulate those who won in the election. As such we hope they would help invigorate MIC ...what is important is not the post but the measures to empower the party," he said.
He told reporters this after opening the 2015 Sabah state level Diabetes Day here today.
Mohd Shafie hoped the party would help strengthen Barisan Nasional in the coming general election.
