"No bad blood between Muhyiddin and I," says Najib

UMNO President, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today dispelled claims that he can’t see eye to eye with his deputy, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
“Those who started the rumour mill about this fake information before this, they will be disappointed,” said Najib at a Press conference held after he chaired the first 2015 UMNO Supreme Council meeting at the Putra World Trade Centre, here today.
Najib, who is also the Prime Minister stressed that private discussions are constantly held between Najib and Muhyiddin.
"I appreciate fruitful ideas from Muhyiddin," he said.
Najib also said UMNO Supreme Council members had expressed their undivided support towards the party top leadership including its president and deputy president.
He stressed that all UMNO members wish the president and its deputy to work as a team to face adversities by the party at present time.

Najib stressed that private discussions had been constantly held with Muhyiddin. UMNO’s leadership is comfortable and stable too, so there's no room for any quarters to ruin the party especially the ties between the deputy president and myself,” he said.
He also said that the Supreme Council meeting today had unanimously voiced its undivided support towards the president and his deputy.
He also explained that UMNO Supreme Council wishes for the president and deputy president along with the other top leaderships to work as team to face challenges and pressures from internal and external parties.

The Supreme Council members said Najib had too voiced their concerns, that if an issue has been raised, they too should play a proactive role and be given ample room or opportunities in addressing the issue in the best possible manner.
Najib in a statement today refuted allegations made by former Information Ministry, Tan Sri Zainuddin Maidin in his blog stating that the UMNO President has failed to clinch the support from his party.
Zainuddin in his blog claimed that Najib will be informed in the most sincere and ethical manner about the declining support he would faced at the UMNO Supreme Council meeting today.
Apart from that, speculations were rife about the ties between Najib and Muhyiddin had turned sour following a series of national issues involving the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
Muhyiddin’s statement about the crisis-plagued 1MDB urging the issue to be addressed accordingly, had clearly stated that he was not in favour of UMNO’s alleged involvement in the matter, said some pundits who were not in Najib’s camp.
