There is no dispute between Abdul Hadi (left) and Tuan Ibrahim, says Ahmad, adding what transpired was just a matter of opinion on a particular matter which did not involve the party's policy.
There is no dispute between PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang and his deputy, Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man as alleged by certain quarters, says the party's deputy spiritual leader Datuk Ahmad Yakob.
He said there had been disagreements between the duo on a particular matter but it did not involve the party's policy.
"I was there in whatever party meetings and the like...there is no dispute. What transpired was just a matter of opinion on a particular matter which did not involve the party's policy," he told reporters at the Kelantan PAS Aidilfitri Open House gathering at the Sultan Muhammad Stadium IV Stadium here today.
Ahmad, who is also Kelantan menteri besar, said such an allegation was purportedly created by PAS' political enemies who would do whatever it took to divide the party.
Meanwhile, on a suggestion by DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang that Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) vice-president Datuk Husam Musa take over as Kelantan menteri besar should Pakatan Harapan rule the state after the 14th General Election (GE14), Ahmad said the matter should be left to the people to decide.
"Maybe, that is their (opposition pact) way of creating an issue to boost the spirits of their leaders in dealing with the GE14," he said, adding that PAS would not entertain such statements.
