UMNO will not forgive its leaders who work with opposition members of Parliament to topple the government.

UMNO Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the move, led by UMNO and opposition leaders, should not bring down the party's pride.

"I do not know who is the UMNO leader who is the mastermind and I am not sure. Only the Deputy Prime Minister (Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi) knows best. We should just wait for his announcement.

"As an UMNO member, we regret this and are disappointed with leaders who are involved in such a move," he told reporters after opening the Tapah division UMNO delegates meeting on Saturday.

Also present were Tapah division UMNO head Datuk Samsuddin Abu Hassan as well as Tapah member of Parliament Datuk M.Saravanan who is also Deputy Youth and Sports Minister.

Ismail Sabri, who is also the Minister of Rural and Regional Development, also reminded Barisan Nasional (BN) MPs to not be influenced by certain parties who offered money to join them.

"Since the opposition leaders are not confident that PAS leaders will join the movement, they will surely try to influence BN members of Parliament join them," he said urging the authorities to investigate and take action against such individuals.
