Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal has vowed to work with all the people in the state to win their hearts even if a new party emerges at the same time.
He said Warisan will try to win the hearts of the people by way of providing good service to them.
"We will try to be close to the people and captivate their hearts even if a new party emerges. Give the option to vote to the people.
"Now, we are returning it to the people to make decisions.
"The people are now matured, we do not have to be arrogant and talk big that we will win. Now it is our job to win the hearts of the people and show the best," he said.
Shafie said this to reporters after the handing over of Native Land (MT) grant at the Sri Perdana Hall here.
A total of 296 MT grant recipients were present, 93 of them from Tungku covering 1766.78 acres.
