Pahang Barisan Nasional (BN) will work hard to ensure that BN win the Rompin parliamentary by-election on May 5 by a bigger majority.
Its chairman, Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob was confident that BN would not have a problem of winning the seat as the late Tan Sri Jamaluddin Jarjis was so concerned about the voters welfare and development in the area.
"The party's election machinery is in good condition. We want to win by a bigger majority but it depends on the number of voters on polling day," he told reporters after attending a community programme organised by Tenaga Nasional Berhad in Felda Chemomoi, near here Saturday.

Adnan said the experience of handling five state by-elections since becoming Pahang Menteri Besar in 1990 will be used to ensure a BN win.
A special meeting will be held on April 14 to discuss the BN election machinery's preparation for the Rompin by-election.
The meeting will also be attended by UMNO vice-president Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein who will lead BN's campaign in the by-electrion.
Adnan said the election machinery would explain current issues, including the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Asked to comment on the BN candidate, he said, "I believe that everyone can guess who will be the BN candidate for Rompin.
Among the names mentioned was Datuk Hasan Arifin, the former Bukit Ibam state assemblyman and former Pahang deputy menteri besar.
Hasan is the deputy chief of Rompin UMNO division.
The Rompin seat fell vacant following the death of Jamaluddin in a helicopter crash in Semenyih, Selangor on April 4.
In the 2013 general election, Jamaluddin retained the Rompin seat with a 15,114 vote majority by beating PAS Muslimat chief Noridah Salleh.
There are 53,294 registered voters in Rompin.
